Here’s a hint – I’m not on Santorini! If you hear hoofbeats… (grin)
The food is awesome… this poached pear “appetizer” with blue cheese and walnuts, well…
Pretty simple really, just poach the pears in port and sugar, arrange on a bed of baby greens dressed with a raspberry vinaigrette, and top with blue cheese and walnuts… but I wouldn’t have come up with it on my own!
Consider this post to be an appetizer as well… more specifics next week (assuming i don’t get run over by a bicycle!!) once I’m back at my desk and not pecking away at my phone!
